    Simplifies the factory Lock n ride jerry can filler neck and storage, allowing you to store a flexible Scepter nozzle inside the can, ditch the messy storage bag, the US style factory nozzle, move on with better flow rates, and just a simpler kit.  If you have already lost your factory fill nozzle somewhere in the bush, this kit is for you!

    Comes with a Scepter nozzle/cap, and adapter collar to insert into tank.

    Instructions

    -Remove lid and top cap on tank

    -Remove and re install factory O ring from cap, onto the SIMPLIFY kit adapter collar flange, making sure its seated and saddled correctly around the ring.

    **** 2 options at this step

    Option1-Remove tank filter to allow a full length Scepter nozzle and increased flow rate. Carefully use a sharp knife to cut the 4 retaining tabs inside the neck of the tank. Only cut the tabs, do not cut into the cap itself by any depth. Once removed, reach inside with a pick, or your fingers, and pull it directly upwards and dispose (make sure cut off tabs and debris are retained inside the filter, and exit the tank.)

    Option2-Measure back 3-1/4" on your new Scepter nozzle, and cleanly cut it with a sharp knife. This length will allow it to work inline the filter without filter removal, just as a slightly shorter and smaller nozzle.

    -Install adapter collar in the tank opening, making sure it presses down to the O-ring making a sealed contact on the lip. Use a bit of force as it'll have an interference fit to remain there. Tap with a small rubber mallet if need be.

    -install Scepter nozzle with cap inside new collar, and re install factory securing lid, making sure to tighten securely.

    -Ditch the messy velcro bag

    -You're now ready to use it in the reverse oreintation for smooth flow pours, and a overall simpler feel.
